Todd A. Snitchler, chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO), will be the keynote speaker at the first statewide Advanced Energy B2B Conference & Expo, according to a press releases from Advanced Energy Economy Ohio and NorTech (See the Aug 15, 2012, blog – “Expo returns to highlight business-to-business opportunities in Ohio’s advanced energy industry”). The event will take place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus from October 30-31, 2012.  Snitchler is scheduled to speak at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, on the role PUCO plays in “fostering a strong energy economy across the state,” as well as the challenges and opportunities facing the state’s current electricity systems infrastructure, the release said.
